Today the trail was so different than yesterday, though the scenery off the trail was very similar.  The trail was mostly soft and even, which made it easy to cruise on.  In fact, an appropriate name for this part of the trail might be the Pacific Cruise Control Trail.

Other than the nice trail, there was virtually nothing notable about today.  In fact, because I was able to hike so easily, I barely remember much of the day because I was just mindlessly moving along in a hiker zone.

I could have, and would liked to have, hiked a few more miles today, but, the last week or so it's been more challenging to find a tent site.  So, when I found a good tent site after doing an acceptable number of miles, I decided to stop and not take a chance on finding a site further up the trail.

Tomorrow, I have a relatively short day to get to Sierra City, where I will do a mini resupply and spend the night.
